Usage Rules

To ensure NZBs.in remains a fair and enjoyable platform for everyone, please follow these usage guidelines. Violations may result in API suspension or account penalties.

API Usage

API usage

  • API and RSS access is restricted to one location at a time.
  • Using a dynamic IP is acceptable, but do not abuse it by changing IP addresses excessively — for example, switching 50 times within 24 hours is not permitted.
  • Switching between different IP addresses frequently over 24h is not permitted.
  • API limits are based on your account level and can be viewed on your profile page.
  • Daily limits apply to downloads, API calls, and RSS feeds, and they reset at midnight.
  • RSS and API results are cached for 15 minutes—there’s no need to query more frequently.
  • Set RSS/API intervals to 30–60 minutes to avoid hitting your limits.
  • Do not use multiple tools (e.g., NZBHydra + Prowlarr) to make overlapping API calls. Abuse will result in API suspension.

Daily limits

Daily limits are not goals to reach — they are in place to prevent abuse.
NZBs.in is not your standard indexer: it runs without subscriptions and on limited resources. We expect members to use it responsibly and only download the NZBs they actually need, not everything just because it's possible.

VPN Usage

  • VPNs are subject to strict limitations. Refer to the Golden Rules for details.

Automation Tools

NZBs.in supports tools like NZBHydra and Prowlarr, but they must be configured responsibly:

Avoid downloading directly through NZBHydra or Prowlarr.

  • Redirect NZB downloads to your client (e.g., NZBGet or SABnzbd).
  • Follow our automation setup guide for proper configuration and usage.

Fair Use

  • NZBs.in is a community resource, not a content provider for businesses or other sites.
  • Do not use NZBs.in to feed other platforms or republish our content.
  • We understand members love to have the biggest (library), but remember—we are not here to encourage data hoarding.
  • Fair use ensures the platform remains accessible and functional for everyone.
