Description

Advanced Search uses Meilisearch combined with filters to allow highly targeted searches.

It supports complex filtering across categories, tags, and external IDs, while also providing partial matching and typo tolerance.

This is the recommended method for users looking for precise, refined results across large datasets.

Usage

1. Select a category to load the appropriate filters.

2. Use the search box to enter keywords.

3. (Optional) Apply filters:

   • Year (single year like 2024 or range like 2020-2025).
   • Origin (scene or p2p).
   • Language.

4. Use category-specific filters (see below).

5. Use tags:

   • Click once: tag is included.
   • Click twice: tag is excluded.
   • Click third time: tag is neutral (not applied).

6. Submit to view results.

Notes

• Selecting a category dynamically loads the relevant filters.
• Tag selection is a three-state toggle:
  • Included: tag must be present.
  • Excluded: tag must not be present.
  • Neutral: tag is ignored.
• External IDs are helpful to target specific series, movies, or shows.

Ranking Rules

4	Attribute	Priority based on matching attribute (e.g., name).
5	Sort	Custom sort (e.g., posted_at:desc).
