How to Add Screenshots to a Release

Adding screenshots to a release is a great way to provide visual details for others. Follow these steps to easily add, edit, or remove screenshots.

Steps to Add Screenshots

  1. Go to the Release Page
    Navigate to the release page where you want to add screenshots.

  2. Click the Screenshot Tab
    Locate and click on the Screenshot tab on the release page.

  3. Paste Screenshot URLs
    Paste the URLs for your screenshots into the text box.
    Important: Enter one URL per line.

  4. Preview Your Screenshots
    A preview of each screenshot will appear above the text box.
    Check the previews to ensure the images are correct.

  5. Remove Screenshots (Optional)
    If you need to remove a screenshot:

    • Click the Remove button on the previewed image.
    • Alternatively, delete the corresponding URL from the text box.
  6. Click Save
    Once you’ve added and confirmed your screenshots, click Save to finalize your changes.

To Edit Screenshots

  1. Enable Editing
    Click the Edit button to enable changes in the text box.

  2. Make Changes

    • Add new URLs by pasting them into the text box.
    • Remove screenshots by either clicking the Remove button or deleting the corresponding URL.
  3. Save Changes
    Click Save again to confirm your edits.

Tips

  • Use high-quality image URLs to ensure clear previews.
  • Ensure that your URLs point directly to the image file (e.g., .jpg, .png) and are publicly accessible.
