At NZBs.in, we aim to make powerful features and high-quality content accessible to everyone. We don’t believe in hard paywalls — but we do want to reward supporters who help keep the site alive. Here's how the different user roles work:

Note: Grab/API limits listed below are per 24 hours and reset at midnight UTC.
These values may change over time and may not always be up-to-date in this documentation.

🎟️ Member

• Default role upon signup

⚡ Power User

• Limit: 800 grabs / 1000 API hits
• Earned by contributing to the indexer through donations and/or helping improve metadata, fixing matches, uploading content, and more

📤 Uploader

• Limit: 1000 grabs / 5000 API hits
• Actively contributes to the indexer through regular uploads

💎 VIP

• Limit: 1000 grabs / 5000 API hits
• Perks:
  • Higher limits
  • Early access to upcoming features
  • This class is reserved for Admins/Sysops from trackers/indexer we have close relationships with.
  • Also granted to those who have made significant contributions to the site.
  • Please don’t ask to be promoted.

🧰 Moderator

• Limit: 1500 grabs / 5000 API hits
• Assists with fixing metadata, tagging issues, and correcting bad releases
• Trusted role with limited moderation tools
• Selected by the admin team

🛡️ Staff

• Limit: 2000 grabs / 5000 API hits
• Trusted members who help manage the day-to-day operations of the indexer
• Includes handling user reports, assisting with support, and keeping things running smoothly

🧠 Admin

• Limit: 5000 grabs / 5000 API hits
• The highest level on the site
• Administrators are responsible for:
  • Overall site maintenance
  • Managing staff
  • Security and infrastructure
  • Setting long-term direction and priorities
• They are to be feared. 👀

📌 Notes

• Uploads do not count toward your grab total
• We don’t hide basic features — all members can use RSS, bookmarks, and the API within their daily limits
• Currently, only 2 features are restricted to Power Users and above:
  • 🌓 Dark Theme
  • 🔍 Advanced Search
